ORC Fall '22 Part III: Think Pink

If I ever see a paint roller again it will be too soon. The last two weeks with my ORC has been a whirlwind. Here’s what I’ve been up to!

Paint

After months of agonizing, I finally decided to take a leap and paint my walls pink. As far as I am concerned, pink is now a neutral.

Storage

One of the things I wanted in this room was a storage solution where I could neatly store my purses and shoes while still being able to easily access them. I’d seen many, many people use IKEA’s Oxberg bookcases as an affordable solution and I had a set of Billy bookcases in my dining room that I wanted to repurpose so this was perfect! For those of you who don’t know, the Ikea Oxberge bookcase is literally just the IKEA Billy bookcase + doors. Since I already had the Billy bookcases, I ordered the doors to make them Oxbergs.

There are 3 types of doors you can get for the Oxberg. A fully solid door, a half solid half glass door, or a full glass door. I originally wanted the full solid version but turns out that options in not available in the U.S. So I decided to get the full glass version and I’m glad I did.
